Uniforms
Uniform: dress of a distinctive design or fashion worn by members of a particular group and serving as a means of identification; distinctive or characteristic clothing... Every one of us I suspect, has an article of clothing, or a "go to" item that we are known for, that is tried and true. One that we haul out when we don't know what to wear, or the thing that we reach for no matter how many others we have on hand. These pieces become our "uniforms". I myself will wear the same flip flops and carry the same bag for months on end. Which is strange, because i have QUITE the shoe collection. The bag can be explained: I'm lazy. I also never remove my sterling silver bracelets (which is probably a big fashion no-no) What is your uniform? Your go to, wear all the time love? Comment, and send me a pic

Weekend Out
If I was actually to go out, on a date per se, or head out for an afternoon of shopping with the girls, this is what i might wear. I didn't pay attention to the price tag on the shoes (HELLO!) but i liked the color and chunkiness of them, they provide a good balance to the width of the dress; and for those not as tall as I, the shoes would certainly bring height and elongate the silhouette.

Ooopsies
So, erm, I apologize for the lack of posting. I logged on yesterday evening to grab a link to one of my posts for a new follower on Facebook, and i noticed that i haven't blogged since June 25th! Heavens! What's up?! Well: I got sidetracked. Simple as that. I'm the kind of person who thrives with a million things going on. I find time to squeeze it all in; willy nilly. And, so...I've been off the grid since late June, which is about the time my fabulous self headed North. And, speaking of my fabulous self, take a look at this other fabulous person, who bears a striking resemblance to moi: This is Shirley Kurata. Awesome, I know.
